Mothers of the Bride and Groom

Mums are always hesitant to have their makeup done for their children's weddings. They worry it will look silly and overdone and they won't feel comfortable. I totally understand and appreciate that! There's nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in your own skin.

I love doing mum's makeup on wedding days. Mum's rarely take time out for them. This is the perfect opportunity to look and feel their very best while standing next to their son or daughter on their wedding day.

Mums often forget they'll be photographed standing next to the stunning bride in all the photos! They also forget they will hang these photos on the wall or mantle and need to love how they look in these keepsake photos.

Here are a few of my mothers of the bride and groom makeups I've done over the years...some are very natural, some more glamorous! Feel free to share this page with your mum or mother in law to-be!

Poor mum had a fall the day before the wedding and ended up in hospital having scans. Needless to say makeup saved the day here - she felt so much better and although the swelling is still there she looks amazing!
