COVID-19: Imporant Info For In-Studio Clients

Thank you so much for trusting me with your beauty services during COVID-19…

I have been taking all the necessary precautions as outlined by the QLD Government’s COVID Safe Checklist for Beauty Salons which you’re welcome to read here. Although the checklists are no longer required I still follow some of the important guidelines.

Below are details and information on how I’m ensuring I’m providing you with the safest service possible as well as new policies in regards to attending appointments during this time. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

I have and always will practise safe and hygienic application methods:

  -       Disposables are always used – eye pads, tape, tissues, swabs, etc.

-       No cross-contaminating occurs with products or tools

-       Tools, brushes and tweezers are always washed, scrubbed, sterilized and disinfected between clients. I have enough sets of clean and sterilized tools for a full day of clients

-       I will continue to wear a face mask throughout lash extension applications

-       I will continue to wash and/or sanitise my hands pre-application

-       I will continue to disinfect surfaces in my lash room

Some new processes to ensure we are both safe during your lash appointment:

 1. Hand sanitiser should be used by all clients on arrival before commencing services

2.     My lash bed will be blanket and towel free for the time being I'm sorry! I still have my memory foam topper under a vinyl cover, so it’s still super comfy

3. If you’re early please text to let me know before arriving, otherwise I’ll be ready for you at your appointment time. Please note: I’m unable to have more than one client in the salon at a time so arriving and waiting inside while I have a client is not possible

 4.     No blankets or towels will be used or will be available at this time for lash services. Feel free to bring a jacket or cardigan if you feel the cold.

 5.     Disposable pillow covers and bed liner will be used

 6.     I will be wearing disposable gloves and a mask for the duration of your lash application. Where mask mandates are in place, or it is advised to wear masks when social distancing can’t be practiced, lash clients will need to wear a mask on arrival and during their appointment.

 9.     Between clients I will be disinfecting all surfaces touched throughout your appointment including but not limited to drawers, tools, lash cases, adhesive, fans, hand mirrors and doorknobs, etc.

Please consider the following when coming to your appointment so we can keep each other and others around us safe:

 -       If you have been around someone with cold or flu-like symptoms or covid-19 please reschedule your appointment

 -       If you have any cough, cold or flu-like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment

 -       If you are in good health and need to cough or sneeze during the appointment please give me a heads up so I can stay clear. You’ll need to do this safely into your flexed elbow or tissue (not into your hands)

 -       Feel free to bring a face mask to wear. Masks are required to be worn by all lash clients during mask mandates and when it’s advised when we cannot social distance (please remember to bring a mask)

 -       If not talking during your appointments makes you feel more comfortable given our close proximity, this is fine with me!

Thank you for your understanding and support! I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Please just let me know if you have any queries via info@tasleemanigh.com or 0423 975 465.

Stay safe & healthy!
