NYE Real Wedding in Eumundi - Holly & Stuart

I've only ever done a couple of weddings on NYE however this is one of my favourite weddings of all!

Holly & Stuart set their wedding date as NYE after being bored on their first New Year's Eve as an engaged couple. Never to be bored again on New Year's Eve it would forever be their anniversary, a day to celebrate. They were engaged while in New York City in the freezing cold of winter.

Their wedding day was a mix of DIY, boho chic and vintage held in Eumundi's CWA Hall on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Their reception was held at a family's winery. This wedding was such a hit it's been featured in Hooray Magazine and Nouba as well.

See Holly's gorgeous photos below including what I did for makeup and the suppliers who helped create their perfect day...

The Bridal Makeup: Bold Statement Party Lips

Holly wanted to do something fun with her makeup so we decided on a bold statement lip. Holly chose her own lip colour a bright fuschia that suited her so well. Paired with a floral crown to die for, her bold lips worked so well.

If you choose to do a statement lip be sure you're choosing a timeless colour - nothing dates quicker than a trendy shade of lipstick and you want your wedding photos to be loved for years to come.

I left Holly's eyes simple and classic - just a sweep of liquid liner in black/brown and a gorgeous set of eyelash extensions applied by me earlier in the week as well. Bright, clear sparkling blue eyes were all Holly's natural beauty - such a pleasure to make up!
