Professionally applied makeup will help complete the look you spent
so many months pulling together. A professional
application that takes into consideration your unique features can
have surprising effects. Together with a professional photographer,
you will see amazing results in your photographs.
Be sure you to hire a Makeup Artist with experience in weddings because timing is
everything on your wedding day. If your morning runs late you will lose time
with your photographer, your ceremony will be behind and your guests will be waiting.
Having your wedding makeup done at a salon or makeup counter can cause delays and unnecessary stress.
You are often one of many appointments and customers they have in a day, and Saturdays can be their busiest!
Who will do your makeup and do they have the professional experience?
Salons and makeup counters can be using
non-camera-safe products - i.e. products that will cause issues such as 'foundation flare' in your photographs.
Even your own products could cause these photographic issues.
This is one day you want to be perfect - why take the risk?
Having a one-on-one appointment with Tasleema ensures you get the attention to detail and beautiful makeup
application you deserve!
Having worked full time in the makeup industry for over ten years Tasleema has worked
with many skin types and ethnic backgrounds.
Whether you are dark, olive, oriental, or have skin concerns such as scars, redness,
uneven skin tone or acne - Tasleema will be able to make you look radiant for your wedding day. She is skilled in
matching foundation exactly to your undertone. No ashy, cakey or pale foundations!
Please take a look at her portfolio to see her work.
Through Tasleema's experience in weddings she highly recommends hiring two separate people for hair
and makeup.
It comes down to time - you and your party will spend twice as long getting ready
with only one person working and there is a high risk of running late or rushing to finish.
There is
nothing worse than a rushed hairstyle or makeup that won't last the day, and wouldn't you want to spend that
extra time with your family and friends?
Airbrush
makeup has become quite popular recently with consumers but it doesn't allow much flexibility or customisation for the Makeup Artist.
In some cases
it can look heavy, cakey and un-natural.
Tasleema believes traditional foundation methods are still the most natural and long lasting. Using
a sponge or foundation brush allows perfect mixing of colours, finishes and the ability to apply them only where needed. Tasleema uses
her signature method of applying foundation to create a veil over the skin. The results are a light and invisible healthy glowing look!
Tasleema can do makeup for the whole bridal party and more; bridesmaids, maids of honour, mothers,
grandmothers, juniors, flower girls and guests.
Male grooming is also available and is recommended
for the groom and groomsmen to help discreetly cover imperfections and control shine for photographs.
Please allow 45 minutes for the bride and 30 minutes application time for each female adult. For juniors
and groom/groomsmen allow a minimum 20 minutes.
To ensure you're ready on time please allow the minimum plus extra time to get dressed, take photographs and get to your
ceremony.
Trials are recommended. This is where you will meet with Tasleema to discuss your
preferences for makeup on your wedding day. She will apply a complete makeup for you and take notes so your look can be recreated on your wedding day.
Consultations are provided at your home.
1 hour service, day, time and location conditions apply. Visit the pricing page for rates.
